Did this one up really quick. Never finished it but you can find it being used on music blogs around the internet world.
One of the million different versions of this picture
I think I did a million different versions of this.
This was done so long ago. 2006? I can't remember when Trash Yourself started...
I really liked the layout of this flyer for some reason.
I was real excited when I finished this one for So Sweet Records but it was eventually turned down. Boo.
One of the things done for So Sweet Records that was never used. This is the design they picked. Shortyly after, the tour got cancelled.
A last minute poster that I did for the So Sweet Records SXSW 2008 showcase. They printed a huge copy and I took it from them! It's only fair! After this I was contracted out to do some more artwork but nothing was ever released.
Back when we had multiple parties going down. Dancing robot guy is hilarious.
A variant of The Eighties flyer for different dates.
We were doing a monthly 80s party for a while. At first it was really fun.. I don't really know why people stopped coming out. I really liked the flyers that I did though. Each few months I would do a new one for the upcoming dates and just change the colors around.
I heard that he loved the flyer.
I started working on a logo for the group BEATPUNKS but got lazy and never finished anything. I just saw that someone did a cool one for them anyways. My work here is done!
Refreshed logo for Dance Robots, Dance! for 2008 and beyond. Don't really plan on designing a new one any time soon... unless I get a brilliant idea for one.
The first official logo for Dance Robots, Dance! I can't really remember if this was done in 2006 or 2007. There's a new one anyways.
Shirt design for Shiny Toy Guns done in 2006. Sold in Hot Topic all over the country. I think it sold out in most of the stores as well.
Did this for the band Shiny Toy Guns back in 2006. It was used for stickers, buttons, and shirts. The shirt had vertical lines coming from the bottom of it. No one ever notices the faces hidden in the design. Strange.
Classixx came at the wrong time. I think it was finals week for the colleges around and the night was pretty dead. I remember it being packed the week after this.
Love when I play out of town and have to make my own flyer...
One of the earlier Dance Robots, Dance! parties. I thought about ripping off old horror movie posters back then but I think this was the only one that I ever did.
Another favorite of mine. Killed this party shortly before I moved away from Tulsa. It never really took off that well. Had a few good nights and too many bad ones. Almost every week around 1am we'd get a surge of underage kids sneaking in which I didn't mind.
A night for hairdressers? Great concept for a night out, thought I don't think it ever took off.
Though this was just a test layout and never completed, I have always loved the strange glowy future dudes that I crapped out. I need to do something like that again on a future design.
I always liked how this one turned out just from how bad the quality is. And the colors are nice too. Best lineup for a show that I've been to in forever.
Wow 2006. I think I basically took the layout from a realllly old poster hanging up at Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa. Straight from the 50's I think.
Design for the moving of ROBOTIC Wednesdays to Electro Lounge in 2007. The next year after the move were the craziest party times ever. Great memories of people going completely nuts.
So simple and easy to read.
I just ran across this again recently and had to laugh. I completely forgot about this one. What the hell was I doing? I almost love this poster.
I think this was the very first party for Dance Robots, Dance! ever.
John & Joshua went to NYC and threw a version of ROBOTIC up there. 2007.
After a few weeks hiatus from throwing OPP due to some retarded drama, Blake Ward and I came back for a week. It was fun though after that week the party just fizzled out thanks to the memory of certain people's actions. Long live OPP.
This was for a party in Norman, OK that I threw. I am DJ b. Don't really have much to say about this poster. Did a lot of promo with it.
This was for a party in Norman, OK that I threw. I am DJ b.
Booking VEGA was done last minute for this night. We had him for ROBOTIC the night before as well. He almost didn't make it up for both shows. Simple, nice poster, I think.
This was for a party in Norman, OK that I threw. I am DJ b.
The best OPP as far as number of people. Scion was nice enough to help us fly out my good friend Billy from LA for the party.
This was for a party in Norman, OK that I threw. I am DJ b.
I never gave this poster a name of any sort. It was done early on in the party. This was most people's favorite poster that was done for OPP.
